It's Free!

So, some of you may have noticed that I decided to make Swords of Freeport (and all my other creative work here on itch) free.

Part of the reason is acceptance - SFP is a very niche project (to put it mildly) and I'm glad that a few people found it and supported me playing it. But I've been too busy to do any updates for some time now and I've certainly not been getting enough sales to be able to use that money to help support the project.

This isn't me complaining - I'm just glad so many people got into it and even helped me port it to other systems in the past few years.

But I also would love more people to check out this weird little creation of mine, and so I decided to make it free with the option of a donation.

I'm not sure if I'll do more updates to the game - part of me would still love to re-do the interface to give more BBS style options, and even produce a "play it on a virtual CRT" version  that runs in graphical mode. But as always, the question is time.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who paid for it and helped support it in other ways, and I hope all of you who now to get to check it out for free enjoy it!
